Katya Langerak

Katya is the second daughter of Jason Langerak and Reneé Dumont. She was born in Sunset Valley, but after the divorce of Jason and Reneé, being still a child, she was left in custody with the latter, with whom she moved to Hidden Springs. There she spent her childhood and part of her adolescence and then she and her father moved again to Starlight Shores, where her mother and sister and her sister Josephine live. In spite of being the daughter of two celebrities - a famous illusionist and a star singer - Katya has never been interested in the life of the rich and famous. Although she was powerfully attracted by the magic his father practiced, she picked tthe science path and joined the Medicine career, without discarding the possibility to be an explorer one day, like her grandmother Layla, her great-grandmother Kim, and, of course, her cousin Tony Langerak.

Katya moved again to Sunset Valley this time by herself, cause she wanted to study at the University, and she di. She enrolled in the Science and Medicine career and graduated with honors. While she was studying there she met Shayne Scroggins and had a short relationship with him. Then near the last trimester, she met Scot McLamoor and fell madly in love with him. After graduation, they both went to live to Starlight Shores, and shortly after they got married. But their marriage didn't last long because Scot cheated on her with their mutual boss Alora Platt. After the separation, Katya discovered that she was pregnant with Scot's child and so her daughter Marcia was born. Later she met again with her ex boyfriend Shayne and started dating him again, they went steady and finally moved in together. They had a daughter too, little Amelia Scroggings who is still a baby. Katya hasn't married Shayne yet, thought he has proposed to her, but after what happened with Scot she's afraid of stepping into a permanent relationship again.

Katya is super emotional, artistic, brave and she loves cold weather; she's independent and sometimes very laid back, but Science she takes it seriously and she aspires to be the best Surgeon in Starlight Shores. Of course she also wants to get the courage to accept Shayne's marriage proposal.

She's the last member of the fourth generation of Langeraks, and also the last of the granddaughters, and great-granddaughters. Maybe that's why she resembles her great-grandmother Kim, founder of the dynasty, so much.
