Memories of April 10, 2013
Michelle moved to this city shortly after breaking up with Dean. Upon arrival, she changed her look completely and rented a small house.
She wasn't totally recovered from her break-up, but maybe her new life in Starlight Shores would make her forget him quick. There was a lot to do, lots of work and dreams to fullfill.
"I'll forget you, Dean. I'll become a great singer, you'll see".
Days later, her sister Miranda and her husband moved to a bigger house and left theirs to Michelle. Miranda sent a limousine right away to pick Michelle up and take her to her new home.
In a few minutes, Michelle was at her new house, feeling like a true star for traveling in a limo.
"Finally, a decent home. Oh, and thanks for the ride, Zack".
"Anytime, Miss Cho. I hope you enjoy your new home".
The "new home" wasn't at all new. Miranda and Mike had lived there for years. Maybe she was going to need a change of decoration and a different furniture, but it wasn't bad and, for now, it was enough for Michelle.
"Yeah, I like this place. Here I'll be able to live comfortably, at least for a while".
"You can tell Miranda and Mike were living the high life. I imagine the house they moved to: huge and beautiful for sure. Someday I will also have that luxury... hopefully".
The life style of the rich and famous wasn't unknown to Michelle. After all she was the youngest daugther of the also famous Davy Cho, but just like her sister, she wanted to make a career for herself, and gain fame and money of her own. Of course, if she wanted to become a superstar, she should start by living like one. You know, 'fake it 'til you make it'? That was exactly what she would do.
But she had to start from the bottom, and reality hit her the next day when she had to deliver her first Celebration sing-a-gram to a boy that had just become a young adult. According to what she was told, the recipient was at the beauty salon.
Michelle went in the salon willing to do anything, though feeling a little silly with the uniform they had assigned for the job. "This is ridiculous, the hairstyle is horrible, and the hat... nothing to say. I look terrible, I know, but anyway..."
The recipient of the message was no less than Nick Casanova, the son of The Great Winston!
"Wow -- I mean, good afternoon, mister. Are you Nick Casanova?"
"Yes, that's me".
"I have a sing-a-gram for you, for your Birthday".
Michelle's 'debut' was a success. Her first sing-a-gram came out splendidly. Nick Casanova was impressed.
"That was great, thank you very much... er, what's your name'"
"Michelle".
"That was great, Michelle. It's nice to meet you, I'm Nick Casanova."
"I know.
"Right, sorry".
"That's okay, It's nice to meet you too, Nick. Have a very Happy Birthday".
"Thanks, Michelle".
That was it. Nick had to go because some friend came to pick him up to go celebrate. On her way home, Michelle couldn't stop thinking of him. She was really impressed, but-- "Nick
Casanova? Please, Michelle, stop dreaming! Nick is the son of a celebrity, you're nobody... yet".
Then, as she turned the next corner... Another celebrity.
"Oh my God! That's Simon the Firefly, the acclaimed acrobat!"
Michelle stopped the car to ask Simon for his autograph, but he got in his limo and left.
"Aw, no, he's gone".
Michelle returned home. She would be able to take a little break, but not to take off her heinous uniform, since her schedule was open and they could call her anytime to deliver another sing-a-gram.
She did not stand with arms crossed and put hands to work to, at least, change her hair a bit.
"Well, it's not great, but I think I look much better".

Con ese traje siempre me han parecido que trabajan en hoteles o en aviones antiguos, jajajaja.
Sería adecuado para el botones de un hotel en Roaring Heights, jajaja. ;)
