Working in Monte Vista

Back in Monte Vista, during dinner, Alexandra and Cornell talked about their adventures at the University and also about their wedding plans. Although they won't get married until after graduation.

Meanwhile they had to work to be able to get the money for the next trimester. Alexandra looked for a case to solve. Cornell had to reach the maximum level on the Athletic skill, or at least one promotion in his job.

So that same night he started with his exercize routine.

Hours of practice and study finally payed off. Cornell reached level 10 of Athletic skill. Thanks to his effort he became one of the best athletes in town.

The next day, Alexandra went to work in the middle of one of those typical Monte Vista rainstorms.

The first thing she had to do was interview Silvia Monty.

By the way, during the interview the ghost of Valentine Monty showed up.

To continue with the case, she had to hack Chan Seng's computer.

She was working until the early hours of the morning, while Cornell slept soundly.

The morning after, she delivered the results of her findings to Silvia Monty and - case solved! Alexandra earned simoleons and experience. 

Upon arriving home she started to fix lunch. She has also earned some Cooking skill points during her time in Monte Vista. 

In the mean time, Cornell ran to the Coliseum for the game.

He had prepared on a daily basis along the whole weekend, so he expected a triunph for his team, The Llamas.

It was a very cloudy and cold afternoon in Monte Vista, but even so, the game went wonderfully.

Fortunately, Cornell's team won. When he came home, he got a call from Jayden, one of his workmates, to congratulate him and comment on the game details. Cornell chatted with him for a good while. he needed to make more friends at work to be able to ascend.

Alexandra on the other hand, had gotten a promotion already. Now she was a Level 6, Gumshoe.

As a part of the awards for her promotion, Alexandra received a Free Investigator's Case Board to help her put together the pieces of her mysterious and complex cases.

A terrible downpour fell that early morning over Monte Vista.

It was raining cats and dogs until sunrise. 

With the rain and all, Cornell had to go to work, while he asked himself when would they see another sunny day in Monte Vista.

On top of that, the carpool is waiting a bit far from the house. Too bad Cornell left his car at the University.

In the evening there was a party at the super rich and noble Nicoletta Haynes.

There, Alexandra ran into her cousin Farah and they had tons of fun sharing all the Monte Vista gossips, and even some old stories from when they both lived in Hidden Springs.

Almost the early morning, Cornell and Alexandra are back at home.
