Surviving the University

Another day at Uni. Dylan went to experiment with the equipment available for the Science students.

Victory! Dylan made a scientific discovery! The time he spent working at the lab earned him the title of Amateur Gamer in the Nerd social group. It was a great day for Dylan.

Except that, when he arrived to the dorm he got scared with the fire that broke out in the kitchen. Even the cops came. The firefighters arrived much later. Some roommates had to help to put it out using their extiguishers.

In the evening, even when he was dead tired, Dylan had to do a challenge, he had to bring coffee beans to the professors, but it was worth it cause he earned 500 simoleons.

Congratulations! Dylan improved his Science skill to Level 3! Dylan has just discovered that the Earth isn't square. Now he can analyze Minerals (Gems and Metals), to see what the world is made of.

Yep, and here is Dylan, analyzing a piece of iron.

This is the modern device he acquired thanks to his progress, and which he uses to do the analysis.

Dylan knows that eating muffins and cupcakes at the cafeteria isn't the most healthy, but any thing is a delicacy compared to the food made by his dorm mates. Not to mention the danger of kitchen fires.

After the cupcake, one of his elixirs to lift your spritis isn't a bad thing. Now he is ready to start another day of school.

One of the outstanding characters that Dylan met at Uni was Mahmoud Yavari, a vampire nerd with a high influence leve. Thanks to his new friendship Dylan reached Level 3 in the Nerd social group.

Make Mahmoud laugh isn't easy, but Dylan did it showing him one of his most recent videos on the internet. Apparently it was a good tactic to be approved by the group.

Another way to be accepted in the Nerd group is reading comics, so Dylan went to buy some.

In the evening, he attended another fraternity party. Anyone who is someone was there. It was a party to rub elbows with the most famous Sims in the city!

The next morning, back to classes. Dylan didn't let his day go to waste. "So many students come to the University to slack off. I'm happy to have a studen that works hard like you, Dylan", one of his teachers told him.

  

"Dylan, your extra efforts in class are definitely noticed. You're a good example for the rest of my students", was the comment of another professor. Dylan couldn't do better. But a potion to improve the mood after the exhaustion of so much effort never hurts.

Among the many triumphs of the week, Dylan managed to reach Level 4 at the Nerd Social Group. Now he is a Trivia Guru.

The alarm clock rang at 6 am. Once again Dylan didn't get much sleep. There is no time to rest here at the Uni.

In the morning, Dylan gave a lecture about Alchemy, unfortunately, there wasn't much interest from his peers.

Then, at the cafeteria, Dylan used what little free time he had to study for the exams, and in the process he increased his Invention skill to Level 7.,

But he got a text message. For a change, there's a party at Cornell's dorm.  Lately, Dylan spends his nights partying and that has affected his school performance.

"Your work is dropping down a little, Dylan, try to pay more attention", was the comment of the teacher on his last class that afternoon. Dylan hesitated to go to Cornell's party or stay at home and study for the exams, which wil be the next morning.

In the end he decided to go to the party.

And there he goes... Hopefully antoher sleepless night won't affect his performance during the exams.
