Summer Festival and Party at the Goth's House

November 24, 2012

Heading for the Summer Festival.
Daniel, Simon and Jessica, greeting their great-grandmother Layla.
Simon and Daniel, at the eating contest.
Tony chating with his grandfather Parker.
Simon is the top dog of this contest! He won a hot dogs supply for a week and all the rights to brag about it!
Though she is already retired from the Acrobat career, Ccassandra has a flair for roller skating, more than the rest of the family, be it because of her athletic condition, or because of her experience with acrobatics.
Jessica found exactly who she was looking for.
It's undeniable that this two like each other.
Although it might be an impossible romance, similar to Simon and Sandy's, because Dylan also is Jessica's uncle. Who told Tony, Jessica's father, to marry and have children the same age as his cousins?
Tony gave out autographs to the ladies of the community. He even signed for the food merchant.
At the Festival was also aunt Bella, with her pet, Lady.
Cassandra got near so the food merchant woman won't approach Tony again.
(Jealousy isn't good, Cassandra!)
"What? Sebastian Vanderburg is a vampire? What a luck! I have always wanted to meet one!"
Now it is Tony who has to watch for Cassandra. That Vanderburg vampire cannot be trusted.
"No way, Tony! Welcome! No, no, you don't have to pay full price. Normally it costs $5, but for you will be only $3."
Wow, she's a true fan!
Oh, it looks like something bad happend to Sebastian. It must be the heat. Ugh, poor guy.
"Well, the vampire is knocked out, now I will be able to drink my 3 simoleons lemonade in peace"!.
Wow! Jessica is really getting the gist of skating. She already can skate backwards.
Jessica had to do her homework at dawn, before going to school cause they arrived late from the festival.

Tony finished her thrilling novel: The Night of the Leg Cramps. Its 442 pages are full of overflowing horror! Tony will get 6 payments in royalties of $741.

In the evening, Tony & Cassandra are off to a formal party at the Goth's house.
"You look gorgeous, as always".
"And you look very handsome".
You can tell they're still much in love.
Tony's uncle Robert is dancing with Catherine Vanderburg (Sebastian the vampire's mother). Lert's hope his wife Camille doesn't find out.
When they were the most inspired, Robert has stepped on Catherine.
  "Oops, I'm sorry Mrs. Vanderburg"
Looks like she didn't find that funny, and Robert didn't either. The truth is, Catherine is somewhat... weird.
Shortly after, they continue as if nothing. She didn't care about the stomp, apparently she likes Robert.
"Oh, Catherine, I stepped on you again! But how clumsy I am!"
(I suspect what Robert wants is to end the dance).
But again, Catherine doesn't care about the stomps. She went on as if nothing, and she even winked at him!
"It's the third time uncle Robert steps on Catherine Vanderburg. This is starting to get repetitive, we better leave".
 Cassandra totally agrees.
But before they're able to escape, Tony gets caught in a long talk with uncle Khaled.
Finally, at the first opportunity, he manages to get out of there. He's going home now. What a nigh! And he didn't even get to see the hosts, John and Aimee.
"The Goths, The Langeraks, the Kamels... All the families in Hidden Springs behave a bit weird. Sometimes a miss the Steeles of Starlight Shores".
