Girl Talk

Already at home, thank goodness.

Shantel wasn't angry with Kay for taking her out of Ludo's party so abruptly, she was too happy for her new conquest and for all the juice she had drunk. Fine. Now all Kay wanted was to sleep.

In the morning, Shantel attended her practice and broadcasted some commercials in spite of the pouring rain. Now that's being professional.

When her practices finished, she returned home, still under the downpour.

Kay, on the othr hand, hadn't been able to attend her class thanks to a group of students that were trying go inside and blocked  the entrance. Two hours undert the rain for nothing. What a luck!

This is how the campus looked under the storm that morning.

It was a very chaotic gray day for Kay, but at least she was going home now.

Due to bad weather it wasn't posible to go anywhere, so Kay took the opportunity to talk to Shantel about some seirous matter, like what had happed at Ludo's party and her romance with Troy Francis. Shantel said she'd try to behave during the days that were left until graduation.

Seeing how Shantel managed her relationships, and since they were in a confidential talk, Kay could help but asking her is she had really been Aaron's girlfriend.

Maybe she shouldn't ask such thing, but she was worried that Shantel could still feel something for Aaron. Fortunately, Shantel said Aaron and her had been so long ago and what she felt for Aaron was just friendship. "You sure? Kay asked. "Very sure", Shanteld answered.

"I swear you don't have absolutely nothing to worry about".
Shantel's answer a great weight off his shoulders.

The girl talk continued for the rest of the afternoon. They talked of many other things, including Shantel's famous romance with Dean Goth. Shantel confessed that Dean had been her one and only true love, and that, if she had broken up with him it was because they weren't 'compatible', and because she thuoght he was a better match for Michelle Cho. Kay agreed with her on the latter.

It was a great night, of important confessions, and in the end, Shantel and Kay felt closer and better friends than ever before.

After such a long talk, tiredness overcame them and they fell asleep in the living room.

Outside, the rain continued to fall for the rest of the afternoon. There wasn't the slightest singal of the sun coming out anytime soon.

In the evening, after dinner, Kay tried to improve her Brain Enhancer. She couldn't do much cause her Handiness level wasn't very high.

Meanwhile, Shantel continued writing her first sci-fi novel, for which Kay had given her some valuable scientific information. Maybe she would even give her some credit if she got to plublish it some day.

Finally the night fell over Uni.

Bit by bit, the rain ceased to fall. The view from the window was very nice and clear. And for the first time since their arrival, Kay was able to sleep peacefully.
