Dean Goth Returns to Uni

The Goth cousins and the Cho siblings returned to Monte Vista for the summer.

  The first thing Gwyneth did upon arrival was to have breakfast cause she was starving. At the same time, she practiced with her Cooking skill, which would be useful when she married Calvin - If he ever proposed to her, that is.

She also continued to work on her inventions, although this was just a hobby for her, cause what she really wanted was to become a painter or a writer. She was also interested in Science, but she still couldn't decide if she'd work in something related to it when she got out of the University.

William for his part, knew exactly what he wanted to be, namely, what he already was: a firefighter. In fact he had gotten a temporary job at the Monte Vista Fire Station . he had to earn money to pay for the next trimester and for his future wedding with Tera.

Michelle made the decision to join the Singer career as soon as possible. To tell the truth she wasn't very sure of going back to the University. She didn't know either what would become of her relationship with Dean. He wanted to be a musician; she wanted to be a singer. Perhaps their roads were destined to part?

Dean had no time to solve this mystery now, He had just enrolled himself in the University again to study during the summer. 

"St. John University, here I go again!"

Dean found impossible with his budget to rent the same house he had shared with his cousins last trimester, so he rented a smaller one, but just as nice.

He was hardly installed when he got a call from Carol Chen, asking him out on a date. The answer of course was no. Not because he doesn't like Carol, but because he already has enough problems with Michelle.

Outside the house, Dean was surprised to find that his father has bought him a car. Hm, that's another one of his tricks to make him forget about music and dedicate to Science as the rest of the Goths. But Dean's decision was made. The little bribe was really unnecessary, but  he had loved it.

"It's perfect for strolling this summer, thanks Dad!"

In his new car he headed for the Meet & Greet. Now, he felt like a movie star!

Unfortunately, the welcome gatherin wasn't very lively. The room was virtually empty, and rightly so, as only a few students had signed up to study during the summer. But among them, of course, was Carol Chen.

 Carol apologized with Dean for having asked him out on a date upon his arrival to school. Dean apologized too:

"No, I am sorry. It's just I have a girlfriend and I don't want to ruin my relationship more than it already is".

"Don't worry, Dean. I totally get it", Carol sighed. From that  moment on, she had to settle for just being good friends with Dean.

Later, Dean ran into professor Madeleine Noetal. She knew Dean wasn't planning to dedicate himself to Sciene, but she agreed the young Goth boy had talent for music. Even with that, she recommended him to finish his career, after that she could do what he really liked to do.

The teacher is right, although Dean hadn't followed the Science career, but the Fine Arts career. Still, the fact the he had enrolled in the University was important for his parents.

When Professor Noetal left, Dean managed to get a free soda from the vending machine.

"I hope Miss Noetal didn't see me".

At the Science hall, he thought of his parents, his grandparents, and the Goth family in general. In how much they would've liked him to pursue the Medical career, but...

.. . Too bad Dean mis not good at this Science thing.

"Who asked me to be the hard-headed Goth?"

In the afternoon, he went to tattoo parlor to get a new tattoo. The artist in charge was flirting with him, for a change. Dean has had luck with the girls at the University, which could become a problem.

In the evening, he headed to the Bowlarama for some fun.

Amd then, at the cafeteria, he found out that Carol plays the guitar. He would have never imagined! Together they jammed to the audience delight. Dean was having a great time, but he had to leave already. He had to go to bed early, since his classes started the next morning. he had no idea how many adventures awaited him now that he was alone in Uni.
