Amin and Jane: Keeping up with the Kamels

Hidden Springs, January 11 2013

Meanwhile in Hidden Springs...

T
This is Amin Kamel, an outstanding politician from Hidden Springs. He's the son of Karim Kamel and Bella Bachelor. Amin has made a career in politics, but his passion is and will always be music.

Sure, being so ambicious, Amin prefered not to follow a career as a musician. He chose politics, in which he believes he can get much furtrher. But sometimes he works too much in both fields and he has ..to resort to certain vigorizing potions to gather more strenght.

In the mornings, he's more than ready for work.

Alike his wife Jane, who is also dedicated to Politics. Today Jane is having her breakfast in a hurry. It's late and the carpool is about to arrive. It would be a good idea to buy a car as soon as possible. Amin is working on it.

Sandy is the only daughter of Amin and Jane. She's late for school as well, but even so she stopped to greet the mailman. The Kamels are very polite people.

There's the school bus, Sandy has to hurry since it usually stops a bit far from her door.

Arriving to school, there goes Kay Huan too, she's one of the many cousins of Sandy. Kay is younger than Sandy, and attends elementary school. Sandy will soon be a young adult and will go to the University.

The only one left at home is Sony, the cat of the Kamels. He's so bored he starts scratching his post. There's nothing else to do there.

Sony felt lonely the whole morning.

Thankfully, by the afternoon, Sandy arrived and served him some food. At last!

Sandy is having fun in front of the mirror.
"Can we play together?", Sony seemed to ask.

Of course they can. Sandy loves Sony to pieces. It's a shame they can't spend more quality time together.

As her parents haven't arrived from work, Sandy looks for something to eat.

"Thank God Dad had made these pancakes. Hmm, they're good".

Sandy's loneliness continues until the evening. Her parents work all day. It's sad to stay home completely alone, but it's late to invite Simon or her friends. Simon's grandparents live across the street they've told her she can call them if she needs anything, Thank goodness.

Calling her cousin Dylan to ask him for an easy cooking recipe. She needs to learn how to cook now that she spends so many hours alone.

¿Don't her parents work too much? She'd like to see them more, but -- anyway, she knows they're doing this for the family welfare.

It's a new day in Hidden Springs. The rainbow is cute but it's raining cats and dogs.

Amin and Jane haven't got their new car yet, so they'll have to get soaked again to get to the carpool.

Sony doesn't want to get wet either and triest to get under Amin's umbrella.

Oh, no! Sony was so nervous about the rain that attacked Amin.

Amin has naturally scolded him. What a way to start the day!

Not to mention the wild horses bottleneck outside the Police Station and at rush hour!

After all the hurries and a long working day, Amin got out of the house to have a little fun at the Mick's Master Karaoke. There he ran into the Vanderburgs and his sister Mona with her husband Shark.

Amin and Mona didn't waste the chance to show their singing skills. It was a fun evening.

Waffles for breakfast. Amin enjoys cooking, it is another of his many skills and hobbies.

Meanwhile, Sony watches from the top of his mountain, namely, the dishwasher.

Finally, the Kamels have a new car. Just in time cause it's raining again.

Sandy will leave on the school bus later, now she's hurrying to finish her homework (which she didn't do last night). Work, school, homework, hurries... Rinse and repeat. That's the daily routine of the Kamels.
