Michelle and Nick Casanova traveled to Champs Les Sims, France on their vacation.
They chose to stay at the Hotel Costa Verde, their son Dwayne was still a toddler so they were left with Nick's parents in Starlight Shores.
Michelle was so tired of such a long trip that she preferred take a nap.
Meanwhile, Nick visited the hotel restaurant.
As he is a Chef, he prepared himself a delicious Teppanyaki Chicken dish.
On their first afternoon in Champs Les Sims, Michelle and Nick visited the Art Gallery.
As a celebrity, it was unusual for Michelle not to be recognized and chased by fans seeking autographs, like it happened on a daily basis in Starlight Shores.
It was relaxing, but at the same time strange not to be treated at all like a famous person.
Her agent and brother-in-law called her twice. Michelle wasn't in the mood to talk about work.
"No, no Mike, not talking about work now. Don't you see I'm on vacation?"
"Wow", Nick thought. "Michelle is in her role of Diva".
And she was. Now she could afford it cause she was on her way to become a star.
Michelle's next stop was the Nectary.
There she enjoyed a little too much tasting the different kinds of nectar.
Nick knew she had had too much to drink when she started singing 'One More Grey Day" at the top of her lungs.
Then, when Nick was starting to have fun, Michelle suddenly went silent. He instantly guessed was she was thinking.
Yep, who else could she be thinking of but that stupid ex-boyfriend of hers, the stupid Dean Goth.
As if he remembered her at least once. That dumb***! Nick knew Michelle hadn't completely forgotten him, but he had learned to deal with it.
Anyway, the party is over, it's time to go back to the hotel.
Back home, Michelle was not feeling well, she was dizzy and nauseous so she went to bed early.
Nick ended having dinner alone again. Although this time he was not in the mood to cook, so he served himself something from the buffet table.
On her last day of vacaction, Michelle woke up and looked in the mirror. Everything seemed normal.
Now it was her who ate alone cause Nick wasn't up.
Then she went to the terrace and took a few minutes to think. First, she thought about her and Nick, then in Dean and how she couldn't forget him. But overall she thought about her career:
"Someday I'll give a great concert here, in Champs Les Sims".
When Nick woke up they went to the park and spent the day there, walking and taking funny pictures of themselves.
"Are you ready? Smile. One, two... three!"
"Here it is, what do you think? Do I look good?" Michelle asked.
"You look beatiful, as always", he answered. "I love you, Michelle".
"And I love you, Nick".
Michelle isn't the only one with a past, Nick had his own history. He had an ex-girlfriend too somewhere. Moonlight Falls, probably. Just like Michelle he tried not to look back, they both lived their lives one day at the time.
"Aw, how I wished we could stay forever in France, but work is waiting, so, Starlight Shores here I come".
