New Friends

After everybody went to bed, Sabrina spend some time with Scarlet. That was how she discovered that spending time with him charged her with energy.

However, she had to leave Scarlet for a few minutes cause Winston couldn't sleep and she had to read something else to him.

Fortunately, Winston fell asleep almost immediately, and Sabrina returned to her work. With the energy that the dragon had given her, she was able to write for the rest of the night. She worked so much and so inspiredly that she was able to submite a few chapters to be published. Better yet, she received a total of $29 simoleons for them.

In the morning Wylie still had a cold, so Sabrina offered to take over his garden after the children left for school.

By the way, it was getting late, so Sabrina had to hurry them up. Tristan was on the bus already, but Winston was starving and wouldn't leave his second bowl of cereal.
"Come on, Winston, hurry up, the bus is waiting for you outside!"
 "Yes, mom, I'm coming... "
Winston kissed her mother goodbye and rushed out.

The peace returned for now to the Luck's home.

Luckily for Wylie it was his day off, so he could stay at home and recover.

While Wylie took a nap, Sabrina toured the neighborhood to meet her neighbors. All of them fairly interesting, to say the less. First, she greeted the next door neighbors, Susie Sackholme and her daugher Lorna. Susie is a doctor, Lorna a cook. They love both gardening and cooking. It's a shame Wylie didn't come, he would've gotten along well with them.

During a long conversation about interests, Sabrina told them she was a writer and that she was writing her second novel already.

Susie found that exciting cause reading is her hobby.

On her way home, Sabrina ran into another extraordinary character, Fintan Mithrillen, a cop. There wasn't any doubt, Dragon Valley was filled with interesting people, too bad that she couldn't meet more of them for the day, cause the kids were about to return from school, so she had to go back home.

When he got out of school, Winston asked for permission to go to his classmate Corren Dwyer's home to play. Winston and Corren had gotten along well since the beginning.

Tristan, on the other had, wasn't interested in Corren's friendhip, he even seemed jealous for not getting the usual attention from his twin brother.

Anyway, Tristan returned home by himself to eat with his parents.

Meanwhile, Winston had a blast at his new friend's house.

After doing their homework, they played Rock, Paper, Scissors, then Corren introduced Winston to his sister Nora, who looked a lot like him. Winston returned home in the evening, tired but happy.

That night there wasn't a domino match, or reading to sleep because Sabrina had caught a cold too. Anyway, it had been an unforgettable day, especially for Winston. From that moment on, time seemed to fly in Dragon Valley.
