Memories of the Langeraks from Island Paradise

Once they settled down in Island Paradise, Alexandra and Cornell could at last enjoy of a proper honeymoon. For this purpose they checked in one of the most luxurious and prestigious hotel resorts of the Island, the Costa Verde.

There, they enjoyed a beautiful view of the ocean. 

As well as the delicious food from the buffet of its restaurant. 

They also went out to see the downtown area, the stores, and the local festival.

 

Of course, they did not miss the photo together for the memory... 

 

Which they immediately sent to all their friends and family through the social network.

But nothing lasts forever, and so did not the Langerak's honeymoon. Sooner than later, the day came when they had to return to their respective jobs. As Cornell's work started at  3 pm, he had the opportunity to practice his favorite water sports the whole day.

  For Alexandra, things weren't as simple. She had to report at the police station at 9 am to work at the office, and in the afternoon she carried out her investigations. 

Some difficult cases kept her busy until late at night.

Past midnight, Alexandra keeps on looking for clues.

After careful considerations and discussing all the pros and cons, the Langeraks decided to re-buy their former houseboat to use it as an additional home, at least for the weekends.

Having a floating house was very convenient, since it not only was useful for resting, they could also use to travel to almost any location, They may even anchor in a port near their jobs to facilitate transportation and arrive on time.

  Plus, the simple act of taking the helm made Cornell feel like a like a true sailor of the seven seas.

 

It was on one of those weekends at the houseboat when Alexandra and Cornell found out that they were expecting their first baby. quite unexpected, but at the same time good news, which they rushed to tell to their respective families.

However, it came as a shock for Alexandra. What would happen with her investigator profession now that she was gooing to be a mom? Would she be able to continue working at the same rythm? Would she have to say goodbye to her aspirations?

Romina Langerak was born in Island Paradise, on a rainy autumn afternoon, bringing a radical change to Alexandra and Cornell's life.

  Such was the joy of holding her daughter in her arms that Alexandra forgot her fears. Now she wasn't just interested her profession, she would continue looking for success, cause her ambitions hadn't changed, but, at the same time, she wanted to spend as much time as possible with Romina. Cornell felt exactly the same. Now they not only wanted to reach the pinnacle of their careers, but also to be the best parents in the world.
