Kay celebrated his first year on her job at the Landgraab Industries Science Institute. Her coworkers threw a party for her there.
When she arrived home, she and Aaron celebrated the ocassion with a dinner. The first anniversary of Kay in Landgraab Industries wasn't the only thing they celebrated. There were two things more.
First: Kay discovered how to mix the elixir she had promised to Troy Francis, Shantel's university friend, to cure him from being a vampire - if they managed to make him come to Hidden Spring. Second: Aaron sold $1,369 simoleons in garden produce. This sale had been better than the two last. Now the business was on the rise.
Durante dinner Aaron and Kay talked about their wedding, which would take place that same weekend. None of the two had doubts that their union would be for the best. In addition to the deep love they feel for each other, they have a lot (if not evrything) in common.
She's a scientist and he's a gardener. The myriad of horticulture experiments they could carry out together!
although some of these experiments did not always go well. Like the one Kay did with a coffee bean from Aaron's garden. Epic horticulture failure! Unintentionally, Kay destroyed a Kona Bean seed in the process.
A failed experiment is always a setback in her career, but she was determined to go ahead until she achieved her goal: to find the Forbidden Fruit seed.
