Miranda and Mike: Their Life as Celebrities

STARLIGHT SHORES, April 4, 2013

We're back in Starlight Shores to see what has happened in the lives of Miranda Cho and her family. It turns out Mirand finally got to perform on a big show venue, namely the Hoi Polloi Event Center.

With patience and great dedication, Mirand had gotten far in her singing career. During those days she looked more confident on stage.

And success was not long in coming.

It was a great night at the Hoi Polloi. the audience gave a standing ovation for long minutes and when she appeared on stage, the flashes of the cameras followed her as well as the screams of the fans.

Her concert was rated by the critic as Excellent.

But Miranda hadn't gotten a contract for a steady show yet. She'd have to wait a little more. In any case, she was satisfied with the results.

The next day she held another audition for the Hoi Polloi propietor and got a gig for the next Thursday.

She returned home very happy. It may not be a steady show, but it's a start!

Mike was doing well too in his elixir business and with his new little orchard that had already bloomed. Could it be because he tended it with extreme care and because, bit by bit, he had been developing a liking for the Gardening skill.

That same week they celebrated Markie's birthday, of course with his sisters Melissa and Marilyn as guests.

They all went to eat cake and left Markie alone!

But not for long, cause his father came to pick him up.

The next morning Miranda would go on her next tour and Mark would be in charge of the kids as always.

But he was a total expert now, so very early in the morning, he had breakfast for everyone ready.

Including Miranda, who, by the way, was happy to count on Mike to be able to leave in peace.

That same morning, Mark learned to walk. To see their son give his first steps in life is a moment of   bliss, but now they would have to be much more attentive to him so that he would not be at risk.

Mike's next achievement of the day was improving his Alchemy skill to Level 10! Now he could create batches of elixirs. That is to say three elíxirs per mixing attempt.

Hours of practice and study finally paid off. Mike doesn't have anything else to learn about Alchemy.

In the afternoon, Mirand left for her tour. Once again Mike was left in charge and he made Grilled Salmon for dinner.

The girls like her dad's dinner a lot.

Mark was a while in his playpen, playing and learning to talk.

But dinner time came for him too. He didn't have Salmon, but he did have his cereal, and daddy was with him all the while.

And then they shared a moment together, learning to talk.

In the evening, Marilyn enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool.

"Dad, look at me, I'm a mermaid!"

And then she played with one of her costumes. "Now I am a princess!"

"I command those mushrooms to glow!".

The mushrooms were none the less a part of Mike's precious garden, which he tended every night, accompanied by a spring gnome.

In the early morning, when Miranda returned from her tour, everybody was sleeping. She went straight to bed too, she was exhausted!

But first he left a gift in Mark's crib: a teddy bear that a fan had thrown at her during the show.

While the Langeraks sleeped, a space craft parked in front of the house!

Melissa was already awake and, as she wasn't afraid, she approached and greeted the alien who had just stepped off the spacecraft.

She was chatting for a long while with the galactic visitor.

They didn't feel the time passing, there were so many interesting things to tell! Fortunately it was a Saturday and Melissa didn't have to go to school.

The spacecraft and her friendly occupant departed at last, and so another sunrise arrived on Starlight Shores.
