Dean Goes Partying

St. John University, April 1, 2013

The next day didn't start well. there was a malfunction with the bathtub and Dean had to repair it. His first steps in Handiness skill.
Even so he had time to study a bit before heading for today's lecture.
"Now I'm ready. Let's go to class!"
Dean left for the Faculty with much enthusiasm, it was a beautiful sunny day and all the way he was thinking he could go to the beach on the weekend.
To tell the truth, the lecture wasn't at all interestin, so Dean took advantage of this to take a little nap.
When he got out of his class he noticed he was being followed by a werewolf. Nothing to be afraid of, he was just a supernatural classmate. And we know that a Goth isn't afraid of this kind of things.
After classes he went for a bite at the Grotto, since the other cafetería was up to the brim. There he ran into Silvia Cahill, a girl that called him on the phone the day before to ask him for a date. Just like with the others, Dean had declined.
Silvia, however, kept on following him and taking pictures of him while hw was trying to chat with the barista, a vampire girl Dean approached out of curiosity. One of his wishes had always been to meet a vampire. This was really the second one he had met.
While leaving The Grotto he met Ashley Corono, a very gorgeous girl. Dean was kind of impressed. Ashley was the kind of girl he could take on a date. IF she ever asked him, and that naturally didn't happen.
Another girl he might date someday was Carol Chen, although he had alreqady declined her invitation. But Carol was pretty, nice, intelligent, and played the guitar very well. A romance with her was impossible, but if Dean ever decided to start a band, Carol would be the first person he would call.
Anyway, that night there was a party at the fraternity house, organized by Jeffery Dean. Carol couldn't attend, but her sister Waverly did. Dean said goodbye to Ashley and headed for the party.
As he is a true gentleman, he offered to take Waverly to the party in his car. She talked a lot along the way, cause she's as outgoing as her sister Carol.
As soon as he got to the party, the guys of the Fraternity threw him a challenge: he had to start a brawl at the party. Dean of course didn't accept.  "Well, pardon me, but fighting is not my thing". And it's true. Dean is a party animal, but a peaceful one.
As Jeffery is also a good musician, Dean and him played together at the party, it was great!
One of the advantages of being a musician is that it attracts the girls. That night Dean won another fan, Caren Hines. Dean didn't know if he could continue to be faithful to Michelle with so many pretty girls surrounding him!
The guitar session with Jeffrey was a success. Dean couldn't help but dreaming. Maybe he could start a band with Jeffery and Carol? Sure, he would need too more members, but that would be a good trio for a start.

Late in the evening, Dean got another challenge: play a juice-pong match with someone. What a weird game this was!
Jeffery was his oponent. It was an amazing match, they had tons of fun and Dean earned influence points.
The downside of the game was that they had to drink... a lot.
"One of the two will end up getting drunk, hopefully it won't be me".
Jeffery was an expert in the game and apparently also a seasoned drinker. It would be difficult to beat him.
But Jeff wasn't perfect and failed some shots, which gave Dean some advantage.
Jeff also had to drink a lot, but for him taht was not a punishment.
Nevertheless, Dean was the one who had to drink the most.
"What the f*** is this game? It's all about drinking".
"If this is about getting drunk, then let's stop fooling around and really drink!", he said to Jeff. And he didn't have to tell him twice. They drank all night long. Jeff would've liked to continue until the morning but Dean was already dizzy and he had to drive, so he rather leave it at that and go home home.
Jeff insisted that he stayed the night so he wouldn't have to drive in his state, but Dean declined. If he stayed he would continue drinking for sure, and tomorrow was a school day. Anyway, he left happy, it was a great party and he'd had a great time.
Waverly didn't returned in the car with him, since she had left earlier.
The joy of the party reminded Dean of his High School times in Hidden Springs with someone that wasn't precisely Michelle. Times that wouldn't return and that it was best to forget.  Now he should focus only in studying and graduating. Then he would hand over his degree to his parents and go as far as he could. Bridgeport to be precise. and then he would dedicate himself  to his own thing: Music.
