Dean Meets Mika

April 6, 2013

Monday, 7 am, Nicole was still sleeping. Dean thought a romantic detail could be preparing a farewell breakfast for her. Farewell, yes, cause he had decided that this affair had to end now. Of course, it would be difficult cause he liked Nicole a lot.

Breakfast was ready, but Nicole preferred to continue sleeping. Dean knew it was not the time to be drinking, but the keg was already there and he needed a drink. Maybe that would give him the courage to say goodbye to Nicole. Sure, he should not drink at this hour of the morning, but it would be just one drink, then he would start studying...

And he did. He drank a bit, and when he felt more relaxed, he sit and studied while Nicole woke up.

Shortly after, Nicole got up and was in for a surprise when she saw breakfast was ready, which, by the way, she loved.

Besides breakfast, Dean had a small present for her. His intention was to make her understand that it was goodbye, but so many attentions caused exactly the opposite effect.

Nicole became affectionate and Dean almost fell for it again.

But he was 'saved by the bell', literally, cause it was just the time to go to school.
"Sorry Nicole, but I have to go now, my class is about to start". She didn't liked it, but at that moment they made a deal. The deal was that there wouldn't be a commitment between them, not now, not ever. Each one could go their own way and see each other from time to time.

Problem solved. Anyway, it was well known that Nicole wasn't in love with Dean, but with her boyfriend, that was why she had accepted the break up.
"Well, Nicole, make yourself at home", Dean said, relieved, and literally ran away.

Along the way he kept thinking if he should call her, see her again, enjoy what was left of the term together. The truth, the idea was tempting but unconvenient.

Just as he got out of the car at the parking lot, it started to rain like the universal deluge. Dean had to run to the classroom where the lecture would be held.

In the evening, after class, he headed to a party at the Fraternity house.

As he arrived, the challenge was to kiss a random sim. That was going to be a tough one, cause Dean didn't know any of the girls that were present. If he kissed any of them they could get angry.

That was when he discovered his friend Carol Chen, who was in the kitchen with Margaret, the team mascot, and professor Madeleine Noetal. Dean called her apart to see if he could kiss her and complete the challenge, hoping she wouldn't hate him for doing so.

When Carol attended his call, Dean realized that Mika Moore was at the party too. She was a rather beautiful student, but he didn't know if it was wise to try the challenge with her, since they didn't know each other.

So he went ahead with his plan of kissing Carol.

First, he greated her as if it was nothing.

And then...

Carol's reaction was immediate. to say she was indignant is an understatement. She called him names and insulted him.

Carol was not only angry but very disappointed; Dean regreted it instantly. The only true friend he had on campus and he had just ruined that friendship. "May I know why you did that, Goth?"

Dean had to ask, or should we say beg for her forgiveness.

He tried to explain to her what the challenge was about. Carol was still mad at him. That's what he got for accepting those stupid challenges. Besides, the kiss didn't count since it hadn't been reciprocated... Anyway, after so many apologies, Carol forgave him and, at least for that night,  they were in peace.

The rest of the party, Dean was dedicated to flirt with Mika, and she seemed delighted.

Here came trouble... If he continued on this path, his love affairs would sooner or later reach his girlfriend's ears. But maybe it would be worth, after all, cause this was Mika  Moore!

But to his bad luck, the party was over early and everybody left in a hurry, among them Mika, who said goodbye to him with a smkile and a "call me maybe". That was all. Goodbye, Mika.

His new conquer had escapaded him, but he was sure they would see each other again, and that their reunion would be great no doubt, cause you could tell she was very interested. At least that was the impression Dean got.

When he arrived home, he was still excited about meeting Mika, but still he took a moment to think. If they knew back at Hidden Springs how he was behaving, they would be disappointed. As if they hadn't enough after his failed relationship with Shantel Langerak in high school!

But why relive the past now? It would be better to go to sleep.
and rest.
