We'll leave the University for a moment to return to Hidden Springs, where Alexandra and Cornellare preparing their wedding.
Their house had recently been remodeled and painted. It was ready for the big day.
In the garden, everything was set up for the ceremony.
The area for the great banquet could not be missing.
Alexandra was eager and somewhat worried cause the weather wasn't exactly ideal those days. She even had caught a cold, but still she went to the park to distract herself a bit, since Cornell was at work.
A concert was supposed to take place at Performance Park, but with the downpour it would probably not happen. The guest artist hadn't even arrived.
The propietor seemed angry. This awful weather is going to ruin the show!
Anyway, under the pouring rain, Alexandra discovered her granpa Mortimer. She hadn't seen him in a long time, so she hurried to greet him.
She asked him what he was doing standing in the rain, getting soaked, grandpa answered he was doing one of his experiments. Yeah, no surpirse.
Alexandra took the opportunity to explain him about her Uni career, her achievements as a Private Investigator, and also to remind him about her upcoming wedding. Mortimer assured her that he, as well as grandmother Myra would be there.
Finally, the guest artist arrived and, even with the rain, she started her perfomance.
There wasn't much people in the audience, but even so Alexandra enjoyed the concert. Grandpa Mortimer had to leave, not without promising her that they would see each other on her wedding thay. Alexandra could hardly wait!
