Alexandra Goth Returns to College

March 22, 2013

And we're back at the University to know what happened with Alexandra Goth this term.
Arriving to the Faculty, Alexandra learned the basic principles of the Invention skill, following on the footseps of her admired grandfather.  A brilliant mind and a blowtorch can turn yesterday trash into the indispensable tomorrow's device. Who knows what will result from the next discovery or explotion?
Monday. The first week of classes started. This time Alexandra was determined to get her degree.
Tuesday was a very peaceful day. Alexandra practiced a little chess in the morning before leaving.
For the first time in ages, the sun shone and the sky looked this blue in Uni.
Today's practice, as usual, was with the Brain Enhance Machine, one of Alexandra's favorite artifacts.
In the evening, at a gathering, she tried to match Richard and Margaret, since she thought they would make a great couple.
Later, she found out that Margaret wasn't interested. Poor Richar. Well, who told her to be a matchmaker?
Then she managed to befriend the host, Skip Taylor.
Skip thanked Alexandra for coming to his party. Wow, Skip Taylor thanked her? Of course, because the Goths are known all around the sim world.
Alexandra had finally started to make friends at the University. It was a shame the term would be finisehd in two days.
Wednesday they had this gorgeous rainbow, but the sky looked a bit cloudy.
It started to rain just when Alexandra was leaving for class.
By the time of the second class, a storm broke out with lightning, thunder and a lot of wind.
Alexandra came out very stressed, and it was still raining!
"I have to take it easy, it's just two days more".
Fortunately, that night there would be a party at Skip's house again.
On exit, she ran into Calvin Dipperson. He's so cute, though not cuter than Cornell. She already has a boyfriend, maybe it would be a good idea to introduce Calvin to one of her cousins, Kay or Gwyneth?
Running to Skip's party.
It wasn't fun to go in a bathing suit in the rain and the cold, but even so Alexandra put on her mermaid costume, hoping to make an impact. It's a shame this guys can only think about drinking.
They didn't even pay her a little attention. How rude!
When she finally managed to talk to them, she realized that they were a pair of boring a**holes.
"Yawn, this party isn't fun at all, Skip isn't even here, I'll rather go home".
Alexandra prefered to spend the night reading and studyin at her dorm.
And enjoyin this delicious pumpkin pie, recipe of her mother, that she finally learned to make.
Thursday dawned with pouring rain.
Alexandra was chatting with Cornell on her phone and improved her Social Networking skill to Level 5! Now she could create News Blogs. She got two new cases as well.
There wasn't time for breakfast, so she stopped by the cafetería for some key lime pie, hoping it would be as delicious as her mother's. The downside of being the daughter of a Five Star Chef is that you become picky about what you eat.
And the time came to go to class. It was getting late, so she ran.
It was no use rushing, for the professor had not even arrived.
The class is over, Alexandra is exhausted and she still has to study for the exams.
After studying a lot and a nap, Alexandra was ready to attend another party at Skip's house. She didn't want to miss it, but she hoped it wasn't as boring as the last one.
During the party she got a phone call from Jeffery Dean to ask her out on a date. Alexandra, of course, said no.  Doesn't anyone at this university know that I already have a boyfriend?
(They know, Alexandra, they just don't care).
To entertain herself a little she tried to do some scientific tests on Harvey. Some of them are not very pleasant.
Fortunately, Harvey took it all with a great sense of humor.
This time nor the guests, nor the party in general where boring. Alexandra had a great time.
But she had to leave early, since the final exams will be the next morning. Too bad, now that the party wasn't going so badly.
And Friday arrived. Alexandra was studying until the early hours of the morning. Se was dead sleepy and hungry, so she had a light breakfast. She'd sleep a few hours and then - off to the final exam.

Siempre me he preguntado si el pastel de calabaza tiene un buen sabor. Yo creo que no me gustaría.
